VIP Keeper Experience

Step behind the scenes and discover what it’s really like to be a zookeeper!

Join our expert team for an unforgettable hands-on experience at The National Reptile Zoo. As a VIP Keeper, you’ll learn how we care for some of the world’s most fascinating animals, from tortoises and lizards to snakes and exotic invertebrates.

Over the course of four hours you’ll help with feeding and enrichment, get up close to incredible creatures, and explore areas of the zoo not open to the public. Along the way, you’ll gain a unique insight into animal care, nutrition, and conservation – while capturing amazing photos to remember it all.

Whether you’re an animal lover, aspiring zookeeper, or simply looking for a truly unique day out, this experience promises something special for everyone.

This experience also gives you access to the zoo for the day.

Upon purchase one of our team members will be in touch to arrange a date and time – tours last four hours with a half hour break after the first two hours and can start between 10.30am – 12pm.
