Volunteer Program

Here at The National Reptile Zoo we run a volunteer program for those interested in animal care and who wish to get a more hands on experience working in a zoo setting.

We offer opportunities to get involved in tasks such as biometrics, general zoo upkeep, animal care, feeding and aiding in research projects here in the zoo. All applicants must be over 18 at the time of applying. Volunteers are required to spend a minimum span of hours working in areas such as outreach, public engagement and zoo upkeep before they are allowed to begin working directly with any animals.
