If you are interested in conducting research at our zoo, we would love to hear from you!
We offer the unique opportunity to study a large range of exotic reptile and invertebrate species in a conservation-focused institution.
Third level students from undergraduate and postgraduate levels are invited to submit a research proposal (see form below).
The scope of research at the zoo encompasses all of the following:
- Animal Science
Conservation, Physiology, Ecology, Ethology, Veterinary - Sociology
Society’s relationship with the natural world, Visitor attitudes towards reptiles, zoos and conservation
- Education
Scientific Outreach, Primary/Secondary School Biology Curriculum - Business
PR, Marketing, Environmental Sustainability, Finance
